my head is full of sand, my limbs wood, my digits nails - i drag, yes. ive not read lj lately as there is positively no time, but ill pop in with some words

the octogenarian woman at the bus stop looked over at my toes and said, are those stars tattooed in? - yes, i said - and she considered them for another moment and beamed up at me and chirped, cute! man, i love living in this town.

the chiropractor used sonic waves and electricity to relax my shoulder muscles yesterday - i am still not sure that it worked. shock therapy, lovely.

this weekend i am to sew the fire trim onto the bottom of my gown *shudder* i am hoping lots of wine and extra hands do the trick. i need to go ribbon shopping, oh hell.

we have a mouse in the house, oh yes. i have been feeding it (all other food in jars and tupperware, of course). feeding it granola and such and luring it out into the middle of the kitchen floor for the natural selection of cats. the food bowl was our only clue he was still around, empty every night and morning, but for the last few days nothing had been eaten.
the cats creep and crawl, the cats under the futon and in the closet, searching endlessly for the little guy. eimer found him hiding behind the gamecube, and a little wiggle dash and he was scampering over to the pile of bags/purses in the hallway. there is a mouse! he exists, oh yes, and after some searching i found him tucked down deep into the cell-phone pocket of an old purse - !! such a little darling, oh my, and quite the morsel for the kitties.
after some deliberation tt and i decided to give him to the cats (either that or release him into the yardmuch less kitty fun, after all they have been after him for weeks.) we released him downstairs amongst unknowing and not incredibly intelligent cats. mice make good use of shoes for hiding, but eventually eimer found him again, carrying him upstairs to us in her mouth like a kitten. shed let him go, play with him a bit (still quite alive and seemingly undamaged) then pick him up in her mouth and carry him around again as per tts description - i did not get to see this myself.
i was a bit upset by the whole thing you see and decided, upon hearing eimers game, to put the mouse outside. the mouse is quick-like and outwitted both the cats and humans, and still roams free. mayhaps he will find his own way out? mayhaps well keep feeding him and have a cute maus pet?

i am finalizing our vows today and all i can say is thank dog for waterproof eyeliner lately, i am such a sap, but what can i say, my darling tt makes the insects in me tum skitter and click.

make the fireflies dance, silver moon sparkling,
so kiss me
