bad bad bad at lunch today, but that is just what happens when TT is working from home...*grin* silly kitties hopping up on the bed, trying to lie down and relax, to snuggle...

[kitties] *bounce*bounce*bounce*

heh.

and they make him leave me on sundays now, only to see my TT late the next friday evening...which only leaves us one full day and about 8hrs. of another to love.

pleh.

he will talk to them, and they will obey? i certainly hope so.

this week was an apart-for-two-days week, and that was annoying. heh. i am all spoiled now after that two weeks at home. he was working, yes -- my boi does not fuck around with job stuff -- but he was here.

i'll get used to him being gone again, yes.
i know it. just like everything else, though, it takes time. anything is better than him living in california and me living, well...here.

and a dream last night with the rocketscientist in it...

we go to a church for mass before we go off on a trip. this is his family's church, and always has been -- although it does not seem familiar in service or scenery. the church seems to be built into a very tall, but thin long cavern, with elaborate spires and wood workings carved into the walls. there is a thin walkway down the center long-wise, and from this steep stairways and handholds for climbing lead up to amazingly intricate pews stuck onto the sides of the cavern. we climb up to take our seats. everything is candle-lit and wavering in the light, frankincense wafting and from somewhere chanting, although too soft to really distinguish what language it is in. we stretch up and down to other pews in order to hold hands during some part of the mass. i am calm and patiently enjoying the rocketscientist's religious ceremony.

sometimes i think i miss faith a little, but i have new faith now (in myself) -- as opposed to some 10yr.-old's blind faith in something that is not there, oh please save me god, please do this, do that for me. yeah, he/she/it cares. you funny people.

side note:

frankincense being from Old French franc encens, from franc (perhaps in sense "of high quality") + encens incense --Thank you Websters!!
groovy fact of the day.

*yawn*

end of work come soon! i long for german food and kung foo!

pleh. i swear sometimes it is like stabbing a stone with a knife...no blood, no blood.
