things are a bit better. after a rocky weekend of nausea and pain, my darling tt is feeling quite well, and at work. we have not seen a stone as of yet, so i am supposing the little bugger is hiding out in his right kidney, hunkering down for the next surprise attack. damnt. we are in contact with 2 drs. but no immediate appointments in the next week. hopefully - well hopefully he can either last until the appt. or maybe it will sneak by us without pain somehow? we will drive to work this week just in case.

when we were in the 2nd ER in Vegas tt's ECG led the doctors to believe that he may have WPW Syndrome - which in short is when someone has an extra electrical pathway across their heart which may cause irregular and/or rapid heartbeat. seems like one can have the WPW pattern without having the syndrome, especially in times of high stress (kidney stone = way high pain/stress.) the only symptoms he shows, if related, are anxiety and an occasional feeling of tightness in his chest seemingly related to the anxiety. unfortunately another symptom is sudden death which is what terrified me at the hospital - but this one is rare. still, as soon as this stone is taken care of we'll off to the drs. to answer some questions.

funny that one of the treatments to stop episodes of WPW is to stimulate the vagus nerve and thus slow the heart rate - the Vegas Nerve! oh me oh my, i will take what i can get. related article. an another.

then again, he may not even have it - although the cardiologist does think something is whack.

moving forward -

i would like a 1999-2001 saab 9-5 hatchback turbo please, black or red on black leather preferred - 5 speed, sun/moon roof, CD, less than 95,000mi. - oh, and a viggen would be nice too (a grrl can dream...) anyone want to trade an audi tt for it? we can throw in an 18lb. guard cat gratis!

heh.
*sigh*
