last night was siouxsiePrincess at the Warfield. its too cold *prance* as she turns and sweat drips down her shoulders, spine. i hate the management *stomp* i hate this place *storms out* the new Creatures album may be interesting, but her diva/fuck the world attitude can certainly ruin a show. she left the stage at least 3 times before we left the theater - it was good to see her for the first time ever, yes, in person, but christ sioux, i am a fan not a peasant so take your dainty deigning crap elsewhere.

one good thing is that she is still pretty freaking hot - at least her body. could not quite see her face under the lighting, perhaps that was the plan. she's pretty old, no? there was some pretty cool drumming going on as well, but i am still frustrated this was not one of the better shows on the tour. inconsistent.

something here reminds me of bart's pet stampy, but i'll not go in to great detail.

the night before, on a completely different note, i took tt to the SpecialLib.Ass. 80th year Celebration. networking or people watching - really it is all the same. fun to have my darling there to comment to...interesting to expose him to the subculture librarian world... yes, we actually talk about cataloguing and databases - but mostly when us librarians get together is seems to be a cross between giving awards and clapping (seemingly for a half hour straight) in recognition of almost anything (for mostly in our jobs we go without praise or accolade) ...so a cross between clapping and drinking, an open bar being a must at any library function. not sure exactly what i am going to write about for to get reimbursement from work for this, but we archivists are clever, i am sure to think of something.
