Precepts of the Samurai | 02 March 2006 | 11:04 am

thank you karl_elvis for the Precepts of a Samurai (listed below) - much better to follow than the freakin 10 commandments (after next week, i'll only have one more of those to break - unless you count telling your dog get it! before he chases down a squirrel, tosses it in the air a few times, and *crunch* and you rescue it from the dog, but only in time for it to have its final death tremors/throws in your arms.) sometimes i am such an idiot.

in any case - the Samurai code looks like a good one to follow - if only i could get over the people and everyone actually meing the general populous, and not my close friends. i also have a lot of problems with the not being an enemy to meself, not clinging to the past, etc. Like karl_elvis i feel like a type of warrior, one with deep ingrained honor, etc. - i am a little sure about what i am protecting or fighting for if else than my friends and darlings, perhaps fighting to keep myself real and here, fighting to not be lost. unsure.

do you see me as a warrior? do you feel like a warrior yourself? if so, what type - and why?

the Samurai code - makes sense to me!
