some lovely freak sect | 25 June 2002 | 9:48 am

last night due to the heat and the fear fish dying, people breaking inanxiety issues to be sure i slept for half-hours at a time, totaling only about 3 hours of sleep time. this is a usual thing for me, *sigh*, (at least since i have not been overwhelmed by depression and sleeping 14 hrs. a night/day.) i much prefer cut up sleep to thatespecially when taking the emotional factors into account.

but i digress

since i was sleeping in small chunks, i had a series of short dreams.

at one point in an earlier dream of the evening:

i find someones lost dog outside. this is a small dog, about a foot and a half to two feet long plus tail, long curly white furbeady eyes, you know the type. in the later dream this dog appears in our bedroom.

i am not only disturbed that such a large creature found its way into our house but also by two other factors. the first is that the dog seems to be bleeding, but i cannot tell from where. every time i touch the animal, my hands come away covered with blood. the second factor is that the dogs neck seems to have grown (or to be currently growing). it is about two or more feet long, and thin and hairless much like the tail of a rat.

i am slowly realizing that this animal is some type of rare bleeding poodle.

ew.

it is hot hot outside and our fish are dying. these two factors are not yet related. mostly we have had fish casualties because of a combination of lack of fish experience and a hungryhungryhippo.

ok, not a hippo so to say, more like a filterbut still. it has swallowed a catfish and last night our male swordtail. *frown* such a cute little horny bastard. *shakes head* poor thing. he is still alive, howeverbut now, i believe, all covered with white scar tissue where he was damaged. he may surviveif it is not ich.

the hippo has been slain, problem solvedbut more to come. you see, the water temperature is going up along with the heat outsideso

tonight, i buy fans!!

and float some soda bottles full of ice in the tank. this should help, yes.

ok, enough of fishand of kitties (prepare for a full report, though, when the eimerlecule comes home!) and let us get down to the meat and bone of todays discussion, shall we?

mon pied.

i have thrown thrown those crutches down at the proverbial feet of saint crapdom! praise the lard, i be healed! *dance*dance* i rode the bus to work today and walked walkedyes. on cloudier days methinks i may start walking home, at least part way. i think the whole trip should take about an hour, well see. it would be lovely for the legs and the health. yes.

there is now the most beautiful seam running down the side top of my footabout two inches long. ill post a picture as soon as that damn obstructive binding tape comes off this weekend.

i wonder if there is some lovely freak sect of strippers who are covered with tattoos and scars? mmm?
