someone eccentric | 17 December 2002 | 2:23 pm

last night there was a dream of sither driving TT and i's car. this one (also black, but convertible and perhaps some newer version of a TT with an actual back seat?) was just purchased and very precious to us.

sither drove...and drove poorly.

at one point i flipped up over from the back seat to the front passenger side. fun! mostly, though, sither was driving on a street in suxburgh just by the river and traffic-ed as hell. she kept trying to cut around the traffic by driving on the left side of the road, and consequently in the way of cars moving in the other direction. in order to get out of their way she would ram the new car into the stopped cars in the lane to the right and try to squeeze it into spaces that were obviously too small.

i was in a constant state of panic.

*shrug*

this may have something to do with the conversation i had with her on sunday morning, and the one with my boss yesterday.

sither's conversation:

...they are going to fill one of the projekt management slots with someone who cannot start until the middle of february...therefore they want to fill the other spot and get that person trained as soon as possible -- in other words, get me your resume now!

those were certainly buzzing thoughts to have just before my concert.

(ferret and the mrs. were there, as well as buttercup and mojo!! the rents were there, although mother was cunty as always and did not wish to hug me at all. why go? why go? *sigh* and my first boyfriend ever was there with his wifey...i had forgotten (?) he was the band director of that school? oopsie. *shrug*)

mr.man's conversation:

so you may be leaving...you have to do what you have to do. we will just pretend that you are here for the next ten years until i hear otherwise. oh, and also, can you revise your job description so we can hire someone like you for your position when, and if, you go.

after i let him know, it was a huge weight off of my shoulders. (he just came over ans asked me if i might know anyone to recommend that might be good (in this case most excellent)...or might (?) be interested in the job.

heh. my boss rules. he wants someone who is not afraid to state their opinion...but that is polite about it. someone eccentric that thinks of the world from a different angle than anyone else. someone who is friendly and communicative, but not easily intimidated. someone who is able to organize and categorize (librarian) who is also able to write. i might know someone that i would be proud to recommend for the job.

*snicker*
