two loads of laundry...a new, and functioning 40 watt bulb in the proch light...a vote on the recall...no or yes, (does anyone even know what i am talking about?)...working on washing the big pot that has been sitting in the sink for almost two weeks (soak, soak, soak...)...putting away the dishes...loading up the dirty ones...hanging up the business shirts...cleaning up the ultra stinky from the weekend kitty litter... and generally picking up, i have thoroughly filled my evening with tasks and do-s and wha-hoos.

i am fully prepared to go out to happiness hour with some coworker cohorts tomorrow after work. at first, the shock - why, i cannot go out on a school night...it is a wednesday...what, oh dread, what if i am hungover for work on thursday?

funny, last friday when i had a bit of a tequilla headache and gravely tum i found it quite amusing that almost half of the people i talked to at work were hungover too. my my, and mostly in their mid 30s too. so very strange how people here stay young forever - not that drinking on a wednesday night makes anyone young...it is just a mentality...a way of thought, carefree. we can stay up late on a school night, we can just take off for a drive in the country, we can celebrate life!

man, i feel left out...i need to have some fun.
