large drips squirming like larvae | 16 January 2002 | 9:44 am

thanks to the bootyboi, i am remembered of the sunday evening dream:

i am with bootyboi at a concert, outside on bleachers at cmu. it seems it will be a few hours before it starts and we are bored and hot waiting out in the sun on metal bleachers. TT decides that he would like to go and have a drink, but i wish to stay. he taps on shoulders of friends sitting around us to see if they have $20 to spare until he can get to a bank machine. he does not ask me, but eventually i just take one out of my wallet, press it into his hands and kiss him goodbye, sending him off to the pub.

as the time passes i regret my decision to stay. i am hot and sun-sore and wish to join my TT, but i have no clue which bar he off-ed to. courtneyevol is sitting next to me, and asks if i would like to go for a bite with her, and i agree. we find a quaint little place called somethingbasil or basilsomething and order gourmet lunch and wine. so delectable and just what we needed, we chat and drink.

after lunch the two of us wander back through the kitchen and into some sort of large locker-room. the lockers vary in shade, some light blue -- some grey -- some beige. there are various different connected rooms with different colored lockers in them. in the largest room a painting on the wall above a gas-log fireplace, the fireplace being made of square white tiles, catches our eye. it is a painting of santa-claus being jovial and such.

we explore the various rooms, finding nothing but more rooms and more hallways in-betweenwe no longer know the way out. every time we pass the painting in the main room there are changes. the first thing we notice is that santa looks very angry and maniacal out of the corner of ones eye. the second thing is that a little basin underneath the painting (in the fireplace where the logs should have been) has filled with water. the third thing we notice -- although this time we do not dare approach and only peek from around the corner are large drips squirming like larvae out of the painting. they hit the floor in front of it and expand, shuddering and wiggling almost mechanically with life. the drops expand and grow into small santa-claus outfits, eventually standing up at full height as the midgets inside grow. they are evil midgets, with sharp sharp teeth and claws, and we are trapped in their domain.

*pshew!*

i am glad i woke up then. *grin* i had another dream last night, but will type it in a little later..else this get too long. tee hee!
