last night i had a fun thought as i hung out with havanalog on the big furry rug...*snuggles*...and the thought:

we are growing grey together

my kitty, though sweet and cuddly and huge and lovely with his davidduchovney face and crooked crooked legs

...he is an ass.he is the king of stress -- moaning and hissing with any houseguest, twitch/itching to swat.

...methinks this is why his black black coat (so i know that it is truly dark dark brown as are all "black" cats, but i can pretend...let me have my fun.) is slowly turning white.

...just a hair here and there, but MANY more than last year.

but he is only three and a half (about 24?) and i a measley twenty-seven.

we sat there together, sunlight sparking off his coat irridescent and every color, growing old.

note to self:dye hair soon?
