am i the anti-librarian | 08 October 2001 | 3:34 pm

i am tired today...but it is a good kind of tired. it is my first day back at work, and already so much accomplished. i opened the library, went to the doktor for to get the stitches glanced at and thank-you-see-you-in-five-weeks -you-are-on-your-now. also i went to class...always a mistake when you are "learning the material ALONG with your instructor" as well as being the freak. one would think that not only am i the anti-librarian, but the anti-american or even the anti-christ as well. *shrug*

etymology side note:

there truely is something about the correlation between the word saint and the word satan (saintan)? i mean, i know he is a fallen angel...but there surely is something more. the word saint is derrived from the late latin word "sanctus" or sacred, and satan from the old hebrew word "satan" meaning adversary. both of the words are so similar...secular. pleh. any ideas?

in any case, it is a good tired -- and i feel pretty much back to normal (not to mention that i have a happy little stash of vicodan now for some future so far undisclosed time. ha!)

an hour left at work and freedom. i suppose i should call my mother -- wobeastman got her gaulbladder (ow) out, and i have to care. ?
