seems like this holiday schtuff has being going on for about forever (+ 1 day) - man. in any case, back to work every day and the same old same old. our first holiday season as a married couple and we are still smiling - well, at least as much as we tend to smile anyhoo.

it seems my sister (wobeastman) is having her 4th child in - oh - 17 days. that was my new year surprise - ! heh. seems like she was preggers at the wedding but did not want to steal away any bravado from me (sweet) and then the holidays rolled around and my sister wanted to be, well, a mum to her other 3 kids for certain, but also not the expecting mother. i did, however, find out before xmas stuffs were purchased (still aren't actually) so sither and i are going to go in on a BabyShit supply gift certificate or something. that and one to sephora, mmm.

so this year is all about babies, something i thought i would never be excited about, but strangely am. (as long as they are not my own, kudo.) i am flying to georgia for the bursting in two weeks, and flying up to MI in march for to see another shortie/monkey/mini popped out on yule eve. sometime later in the year will perhaps be a trip with the family *shudder* to machu picchu (which i am currently trying to not a)piss myself over b)have hungry thoughts about eating little cities c)anticipate d)believe it will happen at all its such a freakin longshot e)all of the afore listed.) and sometime a bit earlier i will get to see idle, what a bonus!

putting it as lightly as possible - and a word of NotTakenByTheSelf advice - if you are getting married, plan the honeymoon to be directly after the wedding, or you may never go. we will get to austria, amsterdam, paris, etc. all in good time - after all, we have the rest of our lives, right? - and there is that slight possibility of machu pi... sssh!

on the other knee...

i am going to an orthopedic surgeon on wednesday - he will humm and herm and pokepoke at my knees till they smart, but hopefully he will figure out something to do as well. walking up stairs and getting up from sitting on the floor should not hurt, nope. me tendonitis knees should not keep me up with their ache ache all night. this is where the flogging comes up to the front and the b0ot starts thinking thoughts like if i were not so fat-ty i would not have pain - but methinks the good doctor will tell me otherwise (i hope.)

all in all, here's to another year and to all of the amazingness/wonderfulness/bullshit it has in store for us *clink!*
