so busy as of late - i have not had time to write in my journal for weeks - ack. everything keeps building up into a bigger and bigger entry, which overwhelms and dissuades me from posting. to get over such things and move on, a quick summary of the last few weeks:

Jun 24th - Butoh dance performance - most excellent performance in a large warehouse/gallery space. we rolled through/shook in the crowd to emerge on the stage with our choreographer/principle dancer evilimp - much clapping followed. my darling tt, myformadableopponent, Zzzz, and (damnit when i forget nicks i give people and am not good about updating my nick list...) BBC were there to watch - how wonderful! i was a happy grrl, oh yes. evilimp gave us each a bottle of white wine to celebrate with, and mine was downed properly.

Jun 25th - hangover, oh yes. and Movie night! All of the above mentioned plus Irish, Sither and Hoffleibe, and one of the dancers, Helmet. (Helmet and BBC sitting in a tree, K-i-s-s-i-n-g!) good turnout, and the largest yet for a Frisco jatt gathering. nummy cheese and wine all around - no wine for me, my tum was still rancid like.

Jun 26th - realized I was sick with some type of flu/sinus infection thing and still feeling pretty awful. i rocked my aikido test, however, so all is well and rad.

in the following week i took off much work and obtained drugs from my good doctor/primary care guy in preparation for the F0o visit!

F0o was here F0o was here and what a delightful time we had! wine country will always be a favorite memory (cute slightly slurred liz bragging about our future submarine - ! - she's the sweetest!) i must say, the F0o visit will be fondly remembered for much time to come - can't have her out here for a few years, you see, as her life is always thrown into turmoil right around the time when she gets on a plane to see us (as if buying the tickets forces change - ack!) We watched belly dancing and went to Japan/China Town and imbibed much wine. Snuggling = Good and she's fondly missed, she is!

Jul 4th - a sad gbye to the lizz0rd and then off to Irish's house up on the hill for a panoramic view of the whole city and neighboring towns and cities fireworks. much fun and so pretty, yes. we skipped out early as tt was off the next day to his grandfather's funeral (who put the FUN in funeral? not tt's family, this is certain.)

the following weekend, last weekend actually, was the aikidoIntensiveWeekend down south. 5hrs of aikido each day - i'll tell you, today is the first day that i am not utterly exhausted or aching. my body loves the work, yes, but fuck.

i am still sick from Jun 24th - the antibiotics seemed to kick most of it, but i am still congested/coughing. peh. hot tea, yummy food and taking it easy are all middle names of mine.

(also, i wrote our vows yesterday.)

(i am scared of the wedding, not the marriage)
