i've been a poop about updating lately, and asp basket even. what can i say? busy busy busy me. i've been putting all of my extra energy into healing from kangeiko week. seriously, this sucks this whole aching knee thing. if i was not already solidly hooked into aikido i would stop. but alas *makes bed* *spills milk* wah wah.

my tt darling now knows about the pre-honeymoon trip to vegas. he guessed it over dinner, mr. smartypants. pre-honeymoon? well yes as we cannot afford time off and just plain afford wedding plus european honeymoon. we'll go next year or after, it makes no matter. just like the wedding, nothing will really change - it is just the mr. and i traveling down the path, one foot, then two. it is our way.

we're going to drive down to vegas through death valley and the painted desert, swing by the grand canyon, and perhaps stay at the madonnainn on the way back - we'll see, i am not sure i agree with madonna's taste in decoration...the rooms may be too loud to sleep in. unsure.

LOTR fun - you may not pee your pants, but you'll snicker a bit for sure ...silly boromir:

LOTR one
LOTR two
LOTR threesies
not as funny, but still worthwhile:
LOTR four

we may also have a houseguest soon - something i was dreading in october due to bad timing. this time it will be ok, methinks, we have no other guests scheduled during that time and have some trips planned anyhoo. hopefully it will all work out great. of course, house guests do not turn out to be the best guests some of the time - we'll see if this one leaves a little hurtful worm pit of ungrateful spite behind.

i have all i want, is that simple enough?
there's a whole lot more i'm thinking of...

every night about six o'clock
the birds come back to the palm to talk
they talk to me, birds talk to me
if i go down on my knees...

i will run for shelter
endless summer lift the curse
it feels like nothing matters...in our private universe
