things i left behind | 15 March 2006 | 2:10 pm

back from michigan and catching up on lots of things i left behind me for a few days. so wonderful to not have cares and just hang out and talk to the kindred for a bit - so wonderful!

working on some things/stuffs today:

- researching mirena IUD - covered 100% by my insurance!! - seems perfect, put it in once and it lasts 5 years, and... and little or no period after using it for 6mo. that is my kind of gig, oh yes. ladies, take a look at mirena - if you have health insurance this might be bonus for you as bleeding can be oh so ick. thank you dearest venus!

- working on finding a new grille for the front of utte - seems the aftermarket grille we had on her before is out of stock/on back order for months. peh. methinks she'll get a super mesh dealio instead - painted black as opposed to the silver in the pic, of course - black as night and sweet as sin, thats my grrl (grrill).

- getting tax crapz0r together for 2005. methinks this is a good year to ask mr.taxman if my darling tt and i should file separately or together as we were merry-ed in 2005. what are the benefits of doing so? what are the drawbacks? mr.taxman knows all the secrets - oh yes - unfortunately he is also severely allergic to cats, so he cries when we visit him. perhaps we can just hand our paperwork to his assistant or medicate him or something.

- calling around to health insurance and doctors as of late to work on my knee. time to start some physical therapy as the brace seems to help a bit with the pain - although my knee randomly hurt for two days in MI for apparently no reason at all. *sigh* must fix knee for to do more aikido and to delve into the wild and wonderful world of belly dancing. i bet i can get sonya to go with me, oh yes - !

- searching for a new home for to move soon - continued from the last few months *sigh*

- thinking about life insurance for myself and my darling - anyone have any suggestions? what do you have? please advise as we are a bit in the dark on this one. it seems some combination of 401ks savings accounts and life insurance is the way to go. we have 401ks set up and are thinking of IRAs, but ?? and ?? anyone have any super knowledgeable parents i can call? heh. no, really... i am serious...
