not the whole shazam | 22 February 2006 | 8:48 am

car accident sunday on the way to the dojo - someone in the left lane decided to make a right turn without looking to see that we were in the right lane. i try not to be in people's blind spots for too long, but c'mon! cannot say i have not almost hit a few that way - but almost, just a scare really, not the whole shazam. in any case the wheels are in motion and i have done all that i need to do, including dropping off our utte this morning at the body shop.

plus - utte most likely gets a whole new front end driver side panels (is this a plus?) and we may still have a free rental when idle comes to visit next weekend (yay!) i have some pictures of the car i may post if laziness does not prohibit me.

minus - the people who hit us (sunday) have not filed their claim yet (wednesday), so i get to worry about "their side of the story" until the insurance company tracks them down - which means waking up in a panic mornings at 5:00AM - and of course hassle, fuss and general dicking around associated with insurance companies and repairs.

and with perfect timing, my sweetest lizz0rd sent a package which arrived yesterday - somehow making everything ok. oh it is such magic to get awesome presents in the mail and love love love. i showed tt everything last night and he smiled - a smile! - which was great and a bit rare these days. thank you f0o!

tt had his first psych(o) appointment yesterday and it stirred him up a bit. such things are good, yes, and all i could do was hug and hug and y'know this is the beginning of you feeling better, s'ok and kiss away the little fragile tt tears. the psych(o) asked a lot of good questions - with a few unexpected twists. yay for communication, i say, and yay for addressing things which need to be addressed. we shall see.

never understood/stand when people who need to talk to someone just put their foot down (*stomp*stomp*) about not going to see someone - i mean, what can it hurt, really? all you can do is learn about yourself, which makes sense, i suppose, that such things would terrify the people who refuse to go. *shrug* it is scary to delve, yes, but i am certainly better for it - the few reading this that knew me before can attest to that. luckily tt is not one of those, and at least curiosity got him there/started.

why is it called a chinese fire drill?

my yahoo spam has decreased severely this past weekend - anyone notice this too, or know why? odd.

"can you launch rockets from here?"
boy, i've done it for years - right over my head...
and when i promised my hand, he promised me back -
snow cherries from france...
