friday: tt and i offed to see TheImportanceofBeingEarnest at the California Shakespeare outside theater this weekend. my my and fun! at times i forget that live drama/comedy is lovely. i do tend to lean toward the easy/home/kitty/snuggle factor of renting movies, but blankets shared under the midnight sky have a charm of their own. our friend has spent a great amount of time building sets this summer for CalShakes - so very proud of her we are! she welds... that is so cool. she also sews and will be commissioned to create my fire wedding dress. excitement, yes.

saturday: i have learned how to save your life this weekend - yes you - if you happen to go into cardiac or respiratory arrest in my presence ...course you are just as likely to die as to be revived, but at least i can try in an educated manner. you! call 911 and come back! the videos were dorky. in my opinion they should show real-life resuscitation so we know what we would be in for (vomit, blood, cracked ribs, etc.) as shown in driving class with car accident films. jeez - i'm not going to be sucking on a mannequin to revive you. it is not pretty and clean, no. *shrug*

dinner was out and thai and yummy! unfortunately i do not think i can much stomach the flesh anymore - either that or something turned my tum just so. i was sick long in to sunday evening.

sunday: after berkeley and training (next week i learn how to walk!), tt and i went out for a long drive down rte.1. why oh why do i forget the camera, always? so pretty are the ocean/rocks/cliffs/seabirds on one side and the artichoke farms on the other. tt drives me - with windows open and the wind licking at my neck, smoothing my hair. at times we chat, or listen to music, but my favorite was no sound - in a comfortable and contented silence. after the coast we went up through the forest on the crest of the redwood covered hill/mountains, and slick and fast up the highway back home.

newsflash: the tt has decided to cut his hair...! it is well past his shoulders and absolutely beautiful (native american blood at work, yes) but it is time to snip, cut, etc. i am thinking Dennis Miller, SNL News - something similar. longish in the front as the style of old, but not cut so close in the back...interesting? suggestions?

and no, not a mullet, no exceptions.
