does anyone else find it amusing that the california company responsible for this weekend's 109 cases of illness due to the e.coli virus is called Natural Selection?

weekend ?highlights?

*pruned one of our four apple trees - 3 to go! hopefully next year we'll have sweet sweet apples and not these mealy/sour/useless ones.

*wish our neighbor would leave us alone and not accost us whilst we are in the backyard. i have no need for pleasantries and have already written our leasing company about the frackin avocado tree encroaching on your precious yellow yard of death. shove off, you.

*i bought a pair of shoes with excellent arches/support for to wear around the house.
upside: will help my heel pain for certain
downside: it makes it harder to sneak up on the cats...

*my darling has one of the longest and sexiest necks ever.

*test drove a new A4 - without the sports package the engine is sweet but there is way too much roll. fun none the less, but no, we're not taking it home today *rolls eyes*

*sat inside a cayman again - the home and butterflies feelings continue. harriet, i am supposed to have more fun without justification, right? *wink*

*one of our wood shrimp kicked it, but mr.bigpants is thriving/filtering and creeping up a storm.

*i get to work on my composter construction plan soon - the laundry fuzz has never been more content.

*uncertainty is unnerving

favorite tt quote of the day - you need to look at it as a fun thing, not a problem. too true!

i was almost kidnapped when i was 4 by a man who supposedly had some cake hidden behind his back, you know, one of those... interesting what things come out in memorandum when discussing mentalities with one's siblings. i have a lot of black holes in my memory - perhaps time to start filling in the gaps?

i just want to think clearly without all of this whir in the way. tomorrow is my appointment with yelena, and the experimentation commences. here's to sweet sweet freedom and peace - luckily i almost never suffer side effects...
