sneaky sneaky transpirings...
i am in communication with a friend of mine at an IT company here in sucksburgh...about a job offer in his company.
sshhhh....
do not telltoday i work on my resume and cover letter. this should be good, very. last night i found myself sifting through more technically-related information management jobs available in the sucksburgh area, and some of them were very interesting indeed.
problem:
no degree yet, and although i am taking my very last class (just one *bop*bop*) i am still in school. i would think that a new employer would understand such things, but my class is in the middle of the day. (only one day a week, for three hours and i could make up the time and such...) hrm. also, i am not sure how benefits would work with leaving school employment before finishing my last class.
note to self: call benefits office.
this is getting to be a little exciting, but i must not get the proverbial hopes up too far...for that leads to disappointment, and disappointment leads to sad, and the sad leads to
*shudder*i do not enjoy thinking about that.
buti do enjoy thinking about paying off my loans and being finally free! i am particularly fond of the idea of pitching in for the apartment more, and thusly helping TT save up for the new car (a TT perhaps? are you catching on to the nick yet? heh.)
i look forward to many things associated with money and paying-off and pitching in. matt-erialistic am i? perhaps shallow? nope. just po, very poand frankly the $15,000/yr. that i have been making for years while getting my masters
just
doesnt
cut.eep!
i have to send my resume to the friend's company right now, for they are interviewing on monday and tuesday, and i have a little in...so i must take!
