not only did i get a fortune cookie which said:

"Good news of a long-awaited event will arrive soon"

but...(butt)...but i also saw a falling star on the way home from dinner with mum.

...a falling star!! -- yeah!

it was all light blue/green and shot down the middle of the sky. i stopped the car in the middle of the street and concentrated on making a wish right then and there, a very important wish...

*eep!*

this makes my day of going to the dentist and dinner with the rent worthwhile, methinks...yes.

oh, and someday i will discuss how i will never, never become me mum. nope, not me.
